How much is a single day lift ticket

What time do the lift ticket windows
open and close at the Aspen Resorts?
Lift tickets can be purchased during the ski season between the hours
of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Often times it is easier to purchase lift
tickets in advance via the internet. If you purchase lift tickets for
skiing and snowboarding at the Aspen Resorts online, you will save time

What time do the Aspen Ski Resorts
close for skiing and snowboarding?
The lifts open everyday at 8:30 AM and close at 4:00 PM. On rare occasions,
lifts may temporarily close during the day due to high winds or lightning.
How much are Aspen ski and snowboard rentals?
Aspen has a wide variety of ski
and snowboard rental shops conveniently located throughout the

Are helmets required at Aspen Mountain, Snowmass,
Buttermilk or Aspen Highlands?
No. Helmets are not required, but highly recommended.

Do I need a car in Aspen?
Probably not. While a number of lodging and accommodations
are within walking distance to the heart of Aspen and the slopes, Aspen
is served by Local Transportation System.

Is there tubing at Aspen?
Yes. Aspen has a fantastic tubing park. Tube
Town at Snowmass is fun for the whole family! Located
on Assay Hill on Snowmass, Tube Town is open Wednesday through
Sunday from 1pm to 8 p.m. The Cost is $15 per
guest including
unlimited runs and tube rental. Due to safety concerns and conditions,
adults weighing over 150 pounds will not be permitted to tube. Children
under 4 are not permitted in the tubing area. Call 970-923-8656

Are there any pet-friendly accommodations
in Aspen and Snowmass?
Yes. A select number of hotels, condos and
lodges in Aspen, Snowmass and Basalt provide pet-friendly accommodations.

What is the weather like in Aspen?
If you've not spent time in the mountains before,
be aware that weather conditions will be a bit different. In the valleys
and at higher altitudes, your body may behave differently. Dress for
cooler temperatures and be prepared for sudden weather changes. It's
colder at higher altitudes.
It's best to dress
